Reminiscent of an ancient Hawaiian village, the Old Lahaina Luau takes great pride in presenting an authentic Hawaiian experience.  The facility is a lush, 2.5acre oceanfront estate located in historic Lahaina, Maui. The ceremony site offers the exclusive, private use of the Old Lahaina Luau’s Wedding Lawn.  Your ceremony takes place on a beautiful wedding stage surrounded amongst tropical flowers, swaying palm trees and the gentle sounds of the ocean 

 

The ceremony begins with the blowing of the pu (conch shell) to assemble and announce the arrival of the bride.  The mea oli (chanter) will then proceed with the oli (chant).  The Kahu (minister) will then officially begin the ceremony.  Our ceremony is a mixture of traditional and Hawaiian customs including the sharing of leis. Once the ceremony is completed the Kahu will give a blessing.  The pu will sound and the celebration begins! 


Following your ceremony you and your guests will have the opportunity to celebrate privately on our beautiful oceanfront lawn.  Most will continue their reception by joining the Luau. The Old Lahaina Luau is an evening of traditional Hawaiian cuisine, music, cultural dances and island crafts.  You will appreciate a genuine reflection of Hawaii’s rich history while enjoying an ocean view and sunset!

The Luau tickets are priced separately from most of our wedding packages.  The rates for 2009 are $92 for adults and $62 for children.  Group rates are available if your count remains above 15 guests. Please inquire for more details.
